Knee splint with three panels and Zimmer splint
- The splint consists of three foam panels in which are embedded metal strips. Using Velcro straps, the splint is adjusted to the patient’s leg, which is thus maintained in extension.
- This extension splint is used as a replacement for post-fracture or post-surgery plaster because it can be easily removed and repositioned, making examinations and wound care easier.
